I am sure everyone around the world know about this...
I'm excited that our country, Malaysia also take part in this activity...
The reasons for this activity is well known...
However, not all of us agree or practically did it...
So, are you the one making the difference?
Or, you are the one ignoring it and having the perspective that :this wouldn't bring any effect?
On 8:30pm to 9:30pm, I'm in the church...
Having our prayer meeting...
Fortunately, once the clock strike 8:30pm, we were all praying in darkness...
Cool right???Hehe...
Once the prayer meeting was ended...
That was 9:15pm...
I was so excited to go out and see whether Kuching-ians did turn off their lights or not...
Disappointingly, I saw most of the place were still very BRIGHT!!!
Some houses even turn ON all the lights...
Haha...Don't know whether I should cry or laugh...
However, there were still some good examples in our city...
Here are some of it (along the way to my home from church):
- Blessed Church
- Yeow Kee Kopitiam (I saw them using candles)
- Four Points by Sheraton
- Pizza Junction
Though it seems like 28th March 2009 is going to end soon...
BUT!!!Let us not just doing that for one hour...
Continue to do this as Earth Hour is not just limited for today's 8:30pm to 9:30pm NIA!!!
* I didn't see Boulevard was turning off the lights or not...
All of you are welcome to leave a comment to share other good examples with us in your city..
